About the talk
The Design Club belief: The future needs people-centred designers to help make the world a better place. Design Club nurtures empathy, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in children and young people. During a Design Club project, young designers work through 5 phases: frame a design challenge, empathise with a target user, generate ideas, prototype a solution, and test that solution for real-world feedback. Here we’re introduced to the Design Club journey, and lessons learned from teaching children about Design Thinking.
About Noam
Noam co-founded Mint Digital in 2004, a studio based in London and New York. He has over 15 years experience creating digital products and services, helping to make a positive impact to people’s lives. Clients include Channel 4, BBC, Tesco, NHS England, Cabinet Office, Benetton, Oxfam, and many more. Noam moved on from Mint towards the end of 2016, seeking a new challenge.
