Inter- and Trans-disciplinarity have recently become distinguishing elements of contemporary art. When borders between disciplines blend together and are erased very often results are enriching for both disciplines and result in work neither could have predicted. A particular example of a collaboration between practitioners with different specialisms will be the focus of this talk. The artist Elpida Hadzi-Vasileva and the scientist Prof. Alastair Forbes will talk about their work together, with moderation by Ana Frangovska.
