In July 2014, Stephan John, a UK consultant, held training sessions on the Implementation of the National Qualifications Framework in Macedonia. The training was aimed at representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the National Centre for Vocational Education and Training, the Bureau for Development of Education, the Adult Learning Centre, the Employment Agency and other stakeholders involved in this process.
The Republic of Macedonia has been working on putting its own framework into place. Stephan John helped build local policy-level capacity that will enable the functioning of the entire system of the National Qualifications Framework in Macedonia.
