We understand that getting your results is important to you. We know you want them quickly, but it is equally important that we give you the score that correctly reflects your performance.
You can expect your IELTS result to be available 13 calendar days after your test.
IELTS RESULTS ONLINE AND BY POST
You’ll be able to preview your results online 13 days after the main test day.
Your IELTS results (also known as your Test Report Form) will be posted to you 13 days after the date of the main test day. If you prefer to collect your result personally from our office, please inform us by e-mail (info@britishcouncil.org.mk) before the results are issued. You will not be able to obtain your results over the phone, by email or by fax.
TEST REPORT FORMS (TRFS)
You will receive one copy of the Test Report Form. Unfortunately, replacements cannot be issued if you lose it.
However, for a period of two years you can apply (to the centre where you took the test) for verified photocopies of the Test Report Form.
TEST REPORT FORMS FOR INSTITUTIONS
We can send up to five additional copies of your TRF directly to institutions you are applying to (for instance universities, immigration officers, etc.) If you would like us to do this, please include the relevant addresses on the Test taker portal within two years of taking the test.
Some of the institutionsare able to view candidates’ scores through the IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) Verification Service. To do this they will need your Test Report Form number which can be found in the bottom right corner of your Test Report Form.
The validity period of your Test Report Form
Institutions will not usually accept a Test Report Form that is more than two years old. After this time you will need to provide them with evidence that you have maintained or improved your English since taking the test.
UNDERSTAND YOUR IELTS SCORES
IELTS provides results for all levels of English: there is no such thing as a pass or fail. You will be given a score from zero to nine for each part of the test – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking

HOW TO QUERY YOUR SCORE
If you have a query regarding your score you can apply to our Enquiry on Results Service to have your test re-marked. This must be done within six weeks of the test date. You can choose which sections of the test you want to have re-marked.
The fee for this service is 5,500 Denars, which will be refunded should your overall score change as a result of the re-marking. Your result will normally be available in 2 to 21 days, depending on several factors including the number of sections requested for remark. Please fill the Enquiry on Results Form for candidates, make the payment and send the form together with the payment proof to us (info@britishcouncil.org.mk). If you have not received a response after 28 days, please contact your test centre.
The fee should be paid via bank transfer:
• Bank name: Komercijalna banka
• Bank account: 300000001838574
• Purpose: Candidate name / IELTS EOR
CAN I RE-TAKE THE TEST?
You can take the test as many times as you wish. However, please note that to significantly improve your score it is necessary to undertake further study. IELTS research indicates that scores are unlikely to improve without further English language tuition.
SPEAKING UP POLICY AND COMPLAINTS
If candidates have a complaint, they need to raise it with the test day supervisor immediately after the exam. Any complaints raised after that will not be considered. If candidates spot any malpractice during the test, they should report it immediately after the test following the instructions in the document on the bottom of this page.
